Photography Contest
Oregon: A Teen View - Photography Contest
Middle and high school photographers are invited to participate in a special photography contest in celebration of Oregon’s 150th birthday. Salem Public Library is looking for original color or black and white photos of people, places or things that represents Oregon to the artist.
Prizes will be awarded separately for Middle School entries and High School entries, with a first, second, and third place chosen in each category. First place winners will receive $50; second place winners will receive $25; and third place winners will receive $15.
Winning photos will be displayed in Salem Public Library during March 2009.
Photographers should submit original photos mounted on poster board, with the following information noted on the back: first and last name; age; phone number; and title of the photo. Submissions must be turned in to the Salem Public Library Youth Services Desk no later than Sunday, January 25, 2009.
